David’s Real Pit BBQ began back in the 1970’s by the late David Reber. It was a small cozy restaurant off of 6^th St. and 23rd. Ave in Gainesville, FL.

After about ten years, David decided to move the business to its long standing location at 5121A NW 39^th Ave.

That’s right, since 1988 Gainesville residents have used us for their catering needs! While, Gainesville is where we do most of our business, we also travel to most parts of North Central FL. We cater breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, we serve a classic country breakfast!
